Vault.com Ranks Insight Sourcing Group on its annual Top 50 Consulting Firms list

 
ATLANTA, Georgia – February 1, 2014 – Insight Sourcing Group, a privately held management-consulting firm focused exclusively on procurement, announced today that it has ranked among the top consulting firms in the 2014 Vault Consulting 50, an annual management and strategy consulting survey by Vault.  The full rankings can be found here.

Consultants also rated their own firm’s quality of life in a series of “Best to Work For” categories such as firm culture, compensation and work-life balance, among others. For the Vault Consulting 50 Ranking, a weighted formula was used to combine findings from both prestige and selected best to work for categories to identify the top 50 consulting firms operating in the U.S. today.

Atlanta Business Chronicle Announces Firm As Finalist for 2011 Governor’s International Awards, Companies That Further Georgia’s Global Reach

Emory University’s Goizueta Business School Announces 2011 Alumni Awards; Honors Alumnus Tom Beaty

 
ATLANTA, Georgia— February 17, 2010 — Tom Beaty, President and CEO of Insight Sourcing Group, was recently honored by Emory University’s Goizueta Business School as their 2011 Alumni Entrepreneurship Award recipient. The award celebration, held at the Georgia Aquarium, recognized 5 of Goizueta Business School’s outstanding graduates in 4 different categories. The Alumni Entrepreneurship Award recognizes an individual who has had great entrepreneurial success in business.

Tom formed Insight Sourcing Group in 2002, and in 2007 was recognized as one of the top ‘40 Under 40’ executives in Atlanta. Since 2008, Tom has been named a ‘Pro to Know’ by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine every year. In 2009, he was selected by the Institute of Supply Management to lead a four hour televised session on Negotiations.

Tom has remained very involved with Emory University since graduating, and twice annually speaks at the Goizueta Business School ‘Scholars Weekend’ event where the top MBA candidates are brought in for a major recruiting event. At this event, Tom talks about how the MBA degree prepared him for success in entrepreneurialism. Typically, over 100 people attend this event.

Tom received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and later received an M.B.A with honors from the Goizueta Business School at Emory where he was awarded the Woodruff Fellowship, Emory’s highest honor.
